Saint Paisios of Mount Athos

Saint Paisios of Mount Athos was a twentieth-century Athonite monk whose life is remembered for prayer, ascetic struggle, humility, and practical compassion. He was born on July 25, 1924, to Prodromos and Eulampia Enzepide at Pharasa in Cappadocia. Shortly before the family left for Greece during the population exchange, Saint Arsenios of Cappadocia baptized him and gave him the name Arsenios.

He is one of the most well known modern Saints in Orthodoxy and fascinates people all around the world with the miracles he still works till this very day
